Who we are: The.com is building the reusable web, making it simple to create, remix, and launch websites. We are a website builder with a community-focused platform that’s driving the conversation about creation and ownership on the web. We’re working to fundamentally change the way people think of authorship online – or, as a friend put it, "how the world will build the ‘web’ part of web3". We like to think big and we have the capital and the team to back it up.
We are looking for an engineering rebel. If you are most excited about technology that doesn't exist yet, spend your time learning and exploring new ideas, and want to be a part of bringing power to web people, we'd love to talk to you.
🏗️You will:
- Build features with the engineering team using React + Typescript
- Spend the majority of your time writing code 🙌
- Collaborate with the rest of the team to turn business needs and customer feedback into PRs
- Move fast, iterate, and experiment
- Be able to talk architecture, systems, and ideas with any of your coworkers - rubber duck coding is most fun with a human.

✍️ What we’re looking for
- An experienced engineer with 3+ years of relevant software development experience.
- Someone who's great at switching between micro/macro.
- A skilled context switcher- you are equally happy heads down in code as having a voice on the big vision.
- Experience in launching, developing, and scaling
- An excellent communicator- you play well with others.
If you fall asleep at night reading documentation, and wake up in the morning having dreamt of loopholes in it- you will be a perfect fit here.
