Position: 

 

As an Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to guide and grow a team of frontend engineers building on one of our main products. You will work closely with our Product, Design, and Engineering teams, playing an essential role in making architectural decisions with the other Engineering Leaders at Musixmatch. Your input will also be paramount in helping shape the product vision and guide the team along the journey of bringing it to life.  

 

What you will do: 

 

- Guide your team members and enable them to do their best work while supporting their growth with a collaborative mindset; 

- Mentor, lead by example, and set your team for success;

- Grow your team by working closely with the People Team, taking an active part in selecting the best talent for Musixmatch, and engaging in all people management initiatives;

- Participate in the product's roadmap planning. Support with identifying and assigning the team members to the most suitable projects;

- Help shape the frontend architecture and participate in the engineering leadership's decision-making processes. 

 

Requirements: 

 

- Strong background in software development with a focus on frontend web development (mobile development experience is a big plus);

- You have previously managed an engineering team;

- Familiar with our frontend tech stack: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, ReactNative;

- Familiar with the agile methodology, scrum, or other project management frameworks;

- Have a product-oriented mindset and previous working experience in a product company;

- You are collaborative, a team player, easy-going, and passionate about what you do;

- You are proactive and comfortable with working autonomously.
